After upgrading the targets don't show.

"Target express has caused an error in TARGETEXPRESS.EXE. Targetexpress will now close." message with Windows Me.

Q - After I start TargetExpress version 3.01 the program closes automatically shortly after starting it.

A - This is a know problem with TargetExpress version 3.01 running on Windows XP. This has been fixed in the later versions of TargetExpress. Download and install the latest version of TargetExpress.

Q - I'm trying to enter my license key but TargetExpress will not except it.

A - The TargetExpress license key consist of the letters A-F and the numbers 0-9. Note that all 0's in your license key are the number zero not the capital letter "O".  This is an easy mistake to make.

Q - What is the best paper to use for printing targets?

A - Regular printer paper (20-lb or 24-lb) works just fine. Heavier paper will make cleaner holes and is sturdier. We found that something in the 60-lb to 70-lb range works very well and will feed through most printers. We have been using paper we found at Office Depot called "Medium Cover Weight Vellum Bristol ".  It is 67-lb and comes in several different colors and is not much more expensive that regular printer paper.

Q - I upgraded my version of TargetExpress and now the targets don't show in the Thumbnail Viewer.

A - When you upgraded you installed the newer version of TargetExpress into a different directory than the older version.  There are two ways to fix this:  1.) Uninstall TargetExpress and install into the same directory as the older version.  2.) Use the Thumbnail Viewer to browse to the directory containing the newer targets and they will be visible. 

Newer version targets are not compatible with the older TargetExpress applications, but all the targets from older versions are always in the newer TargetExpress releases.

Q - I get the message "Target express has caused an error in TARGETEXPRESS.EXE. Targetexpress will now close." when opening a target running Windows Me.

A - This is a know problem with TargetExpress 2.20 running under Windows Me.  This has been fixed in the later versions of TargetExpress. Download and install the latest version of TargetExpress.
